If you're playing in the key of e minor, you might find it useful to acquaint yourself with three other chords which are common to this key. The first one is "a minor" for the piano, which is technically known as the sub-dominant chord. The other two are the dominant chords, which can be played as B minor or B major chord, depending on whether the work is in a traditional key structure or is in a mode, such as the phrygian mode, (when played in "E", this is all the white keys on the piano). |
